Dr Chieh Cheng

Chieh Cheng is an experienced GP Obstetrician who provides preconception, antenatal and postpartum care, as well as women’s health services. Originally from Taiwan and growing up in Perth, Chieh is fluent in Mandarin and completed medical training at University Western Australia. She has worked for over a decade in various hospitals in both metropolitan and rural Western Australia.
Chieh recently spent seven years in Albany as a rural GP Obstetrician, providing continuity of care and performing procedures such as caesarean deliveries, Implanon and Mirena insertions. During this time she was involved with the Rural Clinical School and loved teaching medical students.
Outside of medicine, she is a Masterchef fan and enjoys cooking, films, music and travel.
