Dr Celia Worth

GP Obstetrician

Dr Celia Worth is a mother of two young children who is currently completing her qualifications as a GP obstetrician. She completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland in 2008.

After finishing medical school, she discovered her interest in womens’ health and went on to complete five years of specialty training in obstetrics and gynaecology, predominantly at Liverpool Hospital, a busy tertiary centre in Sydney.

In 2017, Celia made the difficult decision to leave O&G training to follow her husband back to his home town of Perth and pursue her other dream of having a family. Since then, she has been working as an O&G career medical officer at Joondalup Hospital, a GP obstetrician at Bentley Hospital, a GP obstetrician at the founding One for Women practice in Midland and more recently a GP obstetrician at Western Obstetrics in Osborne Park. In addition to this, she is working towards completing the general practitioner specialty component across two sites under the Mead Medical banner.

Celia’s long term goal is to be able to use her skill set in both the metropolitan and rural/remote settings on a regular basis in Western Australian and provide more holistic health care to women at all stages of their life.
