Dr Cliff Neppe

Dr Cliff Neppe is a Specialist Obstetrician, Gynaecologist and is currently the Director of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Joondalup Health Campus.
Cliff also holds the Rank of Squadron Leader in the RAAF - SR. Born in Johannesburg, he was conscripted into the South African Defence Force where he achieved the rank of 1st Lieutenant and was Defence Force Operational Medic in the 1990s.
Cliff developed an early interest in emergency medicine, developing his skills in resuscitation and airway management. Cliff and his wife moved to Queensland where he worked in Royal Flying Doctor Service and the Capricorn emergency rescue helicopter service. He is currently the only Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Australia who is an EMST (Emergency Management of Severe Trauma) Instructor.
Over the last 10 years, Cliff has delivered on average of 300 babies a year. He performs in excess of 100 laparotomies a year and an equal number of laparoscopies and vaginal surgeries.
Cliff and his wife Lauren, a Women’s Health General Practitioner who also works with the One For Women team, share a practice and have three children.
Outside of work, Cliff is a fitness junkie and either jogs or cycles most days of the week. His passion outside of work is motorcycle adventure riding and boating and he tries to spend every spare hour on his adventure bike or the ocean.
